Antique steel engraving ~ Butterflies & Moths

We are constantly searching for vintage prints and engravings to complement your tropical interiors. We found this series of original antique hand coloured steel engravings from a small antiques vendor in England.

This one is a selection of silver-lines butterflies and China-mark moths dated from the year 1860. It's been framed in a gold coloured wooden frame here in Singapore. The blue coloured mount emphasises the subtle colours of the butterflies.

It would look great as a single little picture over a side table or in a group on a gallery wall. There might be slight irregularities on the engravings, which are normal and reflect the age of the picture.
