Elephant Cushion Cover

The Elephant cushion cover is inspired by old drawings of elephants originating from India. We chose a beautiful subtle shade of blue as a background and added some matching cotton tassels for bit of fun. 

Each cover is made by hand by skilled artisans in Kashmir, the most northern part of India. Using a technique called chainstitch, colourful pure wool yarn is stitched by hook through cotton. Each cover takes up to a week to make.
