The Bengal Tiger Carpets are made by hand by skilled artisans in Kashmir, the most northern part of India. Using a technique called chainstitch, colourful pure wool yarn is stitched by hook through cotton. Each carpet takes up to two months to complete. This piece has a taupe grey carpet resting on an ecru coloured background.
