Delphine Wool Kimono
The Delphine Kimono is one-size-fits-all Kimono coat, made of one whole wool shawl. Each piece is handwoven on the strap loom in India and then boiled which gives the garment a soft yet longer lasting appearance. Boiled wool dates back to the Mughal empire in India - it's a traditional treatment of wool created by knitting wool and then agitating it in hot water. This process shrinks and interlocks the wool fibers - the result is a wind-resistant, water-repellent, and highly durable material that keeps the natural elasticity of a knit and never wrinkles. The coats are extremely soft, super lightweight, and very versatile as you can wear them all year around.
